Responsibility
Harvested by hand
Benzoin is collected as resin from scored bark; jasmine is picked at dawn, before the scent fades. Smallholder work, not machine harvest.
One tree per bottle
Every purchase plants a tree through One Tree Planted. Registered and certified since March 2024 — planted, not offset.
Materials, not an accord
The base is real raw material, not a synthetic oud accord. Which is why every batch differs slightly — that is not a flaw, that is the difference.

The material
Agarwood resin forms only when an Aquilaria tree defends itself against infection. It takes decades and cannot be grown to order — which is precisely why genuine oud is rare. Ours comes from Thailand and is aged in Swiss oak before a single drop is composed.
The question nobody asks
Agarwood does not grow in Switzerland. Neither does bergamot. Neither grows in Grasse — no perfume house in the world farms its own raw materials. An origin mark on a fragrance never says where the plant grew. It says where the composition is made, produced and controlled.
Swiss law here is stricter than its reputation. Cosmetics have had their own ordinance since 2017, and Swiss Label verifies compliance independently. What happens here: composition, formulation, filling and control.

"Bit smoky but has real energy behind it. Smells good so far."
He kept the bottle. Without the box.
