Swiss Label
Certified Since 2024
The Armbrust — Switzerland's crossbow mark — is not given. It is earned.

The Objection
Agarwood does not grow in Switzerland. It never has. Anyone who tells you otherwise is selling something. The question is not where the wood comes from — it is what happens to it afterwards.
One Material
Natural oud from Thailand sits beneath all four extraits: Oud Amal, and oud from Trat in Soleil Levant, Amber Mirage and D'Or Davana, which adds Boya oud from India. What separates the fragrances is what was built around it.
Six Months
Oud Amal rests six months before it is filled. During that time alcohols react with organic acids to form esters — molecules that smell rounder and softer than what they came from. The fragrance does not improve because someone says so. It improves because its chemistry changes.
Six months is capital standing still. It is warehouse space and delayed cash. Oud Amal rests six months.
The Cut
Filtration is a judgement, not a setting. Filter too hard and the fragrance loses body — heavy molecules leave with the sediment. Filter too gently and haze forms in the bottle. Where that line falls is decided batch by batch.
The exact parameters stay with the laboratory. That is the point of having one.
What the Mark Certifies
Composition, maturation, filtration, filling and control — all of it in Switzerland, audited. Most fragrance brands write "made in France" with no certification behind it. The Armbrust is administered by the Swiss Label Association and recognised by the Swiss Federal Institute of Intellectual Property.
The Criteria
Licence holder since 2024
« Swiss Made is not a marketing decision.
It is a commitment to do things properly —
even when no one is watching. »
